Authentication Error - No client certificate presented

You have been redirected from a Web UI when trying to access a resource without a Certificate. Use the PKI Tool above to obtain a new certificate or renew an existing certification. The client certificate must be from MIC User 02 PKI. Import the certificate into your browser/API testing tool.

Hint: You need to disable the Netscope client in order to use your MIC User Certificate!

This Guide used the following versions:


  • Windows 10: Version 20H2
  • Firefox: Version 92.0
  • Google Chrome: Version 93.0.4577.63
  • Microsoft Edge: Version 93.0.961.38

  • 1. Double click on the downloaded PFX file and select “Current User”. Select “Install” and approve to made changes to your device.

  • 2. Enter the path to your PFX file and click next.

  • 3. Enter the password of the certificate which was displayed when you request the certificate. If you want to have the certificate on multiple device select “Mark this key as exportable. This will allow you to back up or transport your keys at a later time.”. Select next to continue.

  • 4. You can select “Place all certificates in the follwing store” and select “Personal” or leave to automatically which will select “Personal”.

  • 5. The Certificate Import Wizard show an overview. When you click on finish, the certificate will be installed at the personal certificate store.
  • 6. Open a closed browser you want. The browser should automatically collect the personal certificate. If you have the Netscope client running disable it that the certificate can be used. You can test if the certificate is correct installed at the URL DNS Tool.
